Learn to design and tie everything from a small whisk broom to a full sized or double headed floor sweeper. After one short weekend students will walk away with a variety of beautiful and functional brooms including whisks, turkey wings, short handled hearth brooms, a full sized floor sweeper, and more. This class will survey material sourcing, broom construction, plaiting or weaving for decorative handles, specialty tools, hand grips & techniques.
