Teaching at RISD this Fall

Aspen will be returning to the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) to teach in the Furniture Design Department from September to December.

RISD Furniture Design

Located in Providence, RI, the Furniture Design program at RISD offers an intensive immersion in materials research and the process of making furniture and objects. Students explore critical questions facing designers today, such as leveraging new technologies and materials, responding to economic conditions, and adapting to evolving lifestyles.
